AFCDC NC Celebrates 4 Years

Our annual May gathering to celebrate the anniversary of AFCDC NC was a great success. Normally celebrated at Mayor McFarlane’s residence, our hosts this year were members Andrea & Ed Conner. Their home was a beautiful setting for our celebration and guests enjoyed the gorgeous deck and yard. We had perfect weather for wining and dining en plein air.

Guests enjoyed desserts on the Conner’s picturesque lawn from St. Jacques French Cuisine, prepared by Chef Serge.

Our Board Chair Patty Briguglio gave brief remarks, and Vice-Chair Donna Rhode and husband Dave spoke about their trip to Compiégne and presentation of AFCDC’s 2018 donation to Château to support ongoing restorations (see photos from the presentation here).
